Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Mashup Edu Pvt Ltd website and your participation in our programs, including Xcelerator, Backstage, and Nia. By using this site, applying to a program, or enrolling, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or our services. We may update these terms from time to time; the “last updated” date above reflects the current version.

Mashup Edu Pvt Ltd is a music education company registered in Dehradun, India. We provide artist development programs, education, and related services. Questions about these terms can go to support@mashupedu.in.

Applying to a program does not guarantee a place. We review applications and select participants at our discretion. Places are limited, and an application is an expression of interest, not a confirmed seat. We'll confirm your enrollment in writing (by email) once accepted, and your place is secured only when any required payment is completed.

Program fees are stated at the point of enrollment. Payments are processed by third-party providers such as Razorpay or Stripe, and by paying you also agree to their terms. Fees may be payable in full or in instalments where we offer that option. If you pay in instalments, you remain responsible for the full fee, and access to the program may be paused if a payment is missed. All fees are in the currency shown at checkout and, unless stated otherwise, are exclusive of any applicable taxes.

Because places are limited and program preparation begins ahead of time, fees are generally non-refundable once a cohort begins, except where required by law or stated otherwise in your enrollment terms. If we cancel a program before it starts, you'll be offered a transfer to a future cohort or a refund of fees paid for that program. Specific refund windows, if any, will be set out at enrollment. We aim to deliver each program substantially as described — including live sessions, mentorship, resources, and access to our network. Exact mentors, schedule, session formats, and partners may change for reasons outside our control, and we may make reasonable substitutions of comparable value. Our programs are educational; we don't guarantee any specific outcome, result, income, streams, placement, or career outcome.

You agree to provide accurate information, to participate in good faith, and to treat mentors, staff, and fellow participants with respect. You're responsible for your own equipment, internet access, and any third-party accounts you need to take part. Disruptive, abusive, or unlawful behaviour may result in removal from a program without refund.

All program materials, curriculum, recordings, and content we provide — and all branding on this site — belong to Mashup Edu Pvt Ltd or our licensors, and are provided for your personal, non-commercial learning use. You may not copy, record, redistribute, resell, or share them outside the program without our written permission.

Your own music and creative work remains yours. By participating, you grant us permission to reference your participation and, with your consent, to feature your name, work, or story in our marketing and showcases.

Where a program includes Nia or other AI-assisted features, these are provided as a tool to support — not replace — your judgement. AI outputs can be inaccurate or incomplete; you're responsible for how you act on any suggestion. AI features may evolve, and availability can change between cohorts.

Our site and programs may reference or link to third-party platforms (such as streaming services, social platforms, payment and messaging providers). We don't control these and aren't responsible for their content, terms, or practices. Your use of them is governed by their own terms.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mashup Edu Pvt Ltd is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the site or our programs, including any loss of profits, opportunity, or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to a program is limited to the fees you paid us for that program. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dehradun, Uttarakhand. We'd always rather resolve things directly first — please reach out to support@mashupedu.in before anything formal.
